Switch continuing from the Congress to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) , the ruling party received another jolt on Tuesday barely two weeks before the election when Uttarakhand women commission deputy chairperson Amita lohani along with her supporters joined BJP in the presence of three senior leaders- JP Nadda, Shyam Jaju and Satpal Maharaj.
Jaju said that the trend of the Congress leaders switching over to BJP daily was a pointer to the confidence they were reposing in the leadership of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his style of governance.
“More are on the cards in the coming days,” he said, adding that Congress’s erosion is now irreversible.
