local artistes are being given chance to perform during Mussoorie Winterline Carnival as the local culture and the local cuisine would be showcased in course of the carnival, said Uttarakhand higher education Minister Dhan Singh Rawat after inaugurating the carnival at Mussoorie on Monday.
Several programmes are lined up to entertain visitors during the carnival.
On the inaugural day, a carnival parade was held from Survey Chowk to Gandhi Chowk besides a cultural performance that followed. More and more artistes will participate in this carnival.
