Amid heightened political temperature, cloudy conditions coupled with light rain showers hit normal life in different parts of the region here on Friday. Whereas occasional Sunny days during the past few days were providing some relief from cold, cloudy conditions continued to engulf the region throughout the day on Friday.
More so, cold waves resulting in sharp decline in atmospheric temperature only added to the woes of the citizens particularly the officer-goers, school children and occasional visitors. In the meanwhile, citizens could also be seen restricting their movements to their respective offices or homes today to protect themselves from cold conditions. Thin presence of visitors in busy market places or on roads only gives that impression.
However, as the winter holiday period is over, therefore, school children had to go to schools, despite cold conditions as reported on Friday. As has been experienced in the past, the atmospheric conditions may continue to worsen at least till February end.
