Legislator seeks action against water park

BJP legislator from Jwalapur, Suresh Rathore has demanded that the state government should take action against Crystal World water park located on national highway near Patanjali Yog Peeth. He has alleged that the right of farmers is being usurped when officials provide electricity to water park and power cuts are imposed at length in agricultural areas. Farmers are facing water crisis while water is being wasted in the water park, he said.

Addressing media persons, the MLA said, “Our Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted in Mann ki Baat recently that water conservation must be done by everyone in the country. I have been pin pointing for past many years the same issue but unfortunately a water park in Bahadrabad, Crystal World, is wasting lakhs of litres of water. The farmers who need this water are deprived while lakhs of litres of water goes down the drain without being conserved at the recreational park. To top it all this water is causing pollution and water borne diseases since the park is not maintaining the required parameters required by a water park,” he alleged.
