land ownership rights for lalkuan residents demanded

lalkuan Nagar Panchayat president Rambabu Mishra complained to Chief Minister Harish Rawat during a meeting that despite lalkuan having become Nagar Panchayat, the residents of the area have not been given ownership rights of the lands they own. Two meetings at the level of Commissioner were held in the past and no action was taken so far, he said. 

He sought swift action from the CM on the same.The former State Congress executive committee member Harendra Bora was also present on the occasion.

CM Rawat directed the city development secretary to complete survey of the area and submit him report without delay apart from calling a meeting in Dehradun regarding the same issue. The local residents of lalkaun should be invited at the meeting, CM instructed. Mishra also informed the CM about other problems related to lalkuan area and CM assured him of swift redressal.
