The international senior women's training cum sparring camp will be held at Edenderry, Ireland from August 22 to September 6. In the Indian boxing squad of senior women boxer, one of the outstanding female pugilists from Uttarakhand, Krishna Thapa is also in the boxers’ contigent.
Uttarakhand Boxing Federation general secretary and Additional Director of Sports, Garhwal region, DP Bhatt said that Uttarakhand’s outstanding boxer Krishna Thapa is a member of the Indian women boxer squad participating in the international multi nation senior women’s training cum sparring camp, which will commence from August 22. Other countries participating in this international camp include Ireland, Kazakhstan, England, Canada and France among others including India. Bhatt said that GS Sandhu is the head coach with the women boxers’ squad and Stephene Collalordo is the foreign expert.
