Talking to The Pioneer, Udham Singh Nagar MP and former Chief Minister Bhagat Singh Koshyari said that the commotion happening in the State party is a matter of serious concern. “I think that the party leadership should conduct inquiry into the disturbance being triggered by the dissension over Tehsil elections due in some areas. Disciplinary action should be taken against those responsible for the commotion among the party rank and file. Such shows of indiscipline is denting into the party’s image,” he said. He further said that Mandal elections  have  been held glitch-free in around 200 places. “In a few places, things are tense. An internal party inquiry is what is needed to stem the tide of unruliness,” he said.
