launching his election campaign in different parts of lalkuwan area here on Wednesday, BJP candidate from Nainital-Udham Singh Nagar parliamentary constituency, Bhagat Singh Koshiyari, also opened an election office at lalkuwan.
The BJP election office at lalkuwan was inaugurated by a local tea-vendor Ranendra Papne along with Koshiyari. However, Koshiyari exhorted the party workers to be united to reach out to the voters at the grass root level.
These lok Sabha polls are crucial because the BJP is fighting these polls keeping its development agenda ahead. There is huge disappointment amongst the electorate against the Congress led UPA Government. Therefore, the party activists have to work hard to ensure party’s victory in every seat, Koshiyari further said.
Since declaration of my name from this lok Sabha seat, I have been continuously meeting the people across this seat. It seems the people who are facing a tough time due to unprecedented level of inflation, unemployment to name a few, have decided to remove the Congress led UPA Government at the Centre.
So they have decided to support the BJP under the leadership of Narendra Modi, he added. Among others BJP Haldwani unit president Deepak Mehar and other senior party leaders including Mamta Palariya, Navin Dumka, Pawan Chauhan, Prakash Rawat to name a few were also accompanying Koshiyari during his election campaign in that area on Wednesday.
