A two-day long HP Memorial Sports Meet “Knock Out-2017” was concluded at Dev Bhoomi Group of Institutions, Dehradun on Saturday.
The chairman of the group Sanjay Bansal said that the sports meet is celebrated every year in the loving and profound memory of the chief founder of the institute late Hari Prakash Bansal. This sports event encouraged an enthusiastic sportsmanship, healthy competitive feeling and charismatic team spirit among the students, he added.
During the two-day sports event, several games — cricket, badminton, kho-kho, chess, carom and kabaddi —were played by the students.
Managing director, Dev Bhoomi Group of Institutions, Aman Bansal said that during the entire sport series, students had displayed their excellent sportsmanship while actively participating in the games.
“Every participating student put his highest level of endeavour in proving himself the best. Besides students, the faculties and staff also participated proactively in various games that certainly added beauty to the grandeur of the sport event,” he said.
