Justice Ramesh Ranganathan would be the next chief justice of the Uttarakhand High Court. His name for the post of the Chief Justice in Uttarakhand was recommended by the three-judge collegium headed by Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi.
It should be mentioned here that justice Ranganathan is a judge in the Hyderabad High Court. According to sources, the collegium has also recommended Uttarakhand High Court justice Vijay Kumar Bisht for the post of Sikkim High Court Chief Justice.
