At first, she was struggling to make both ends meet. Today, she is struggling for life while hovering between life and death. This is the story of Kasra Devi from Jhakogi village in Thualdhar development block. She had fallen off a cliff while collecting fodder two days ago. The villagers rescued her and she was admitted initially at a local hospital. She was later shifted to one in Dehradun as her condition kept on worsening.
However, the surgery is yet to be done as she lacks the money required for it.The medical report given on her condition by CMI, Dehradun showed serious injuries on her back and legs. It suggested surgery at the earliest. The woman has no family to support her financially during these critical days. She used to somehow manage her living while working as assistant in the village Anganbadi.
Finding her in such a predicament, the villagers like Hukum Singh, Rajendra Singh and some others have appealed to the philanthropic organisations and others to extend generous help to save her life.
