Opining that the Samvidhan Bachao rally of the Congress is actually ‘Congress Bachao, Rahul Lao’ rally, the Bharatiya Janata Party has stated that it will unmask the Congress.
When the Congress, which had toyed with the constitution on several occasions gives a ‘save constitution’ slogan, it is perplexing and laughable at the same time, the BJP opined.
Commenting on the Congress rally to be held on Saturday, the BJP State media in-charge Devendra Bhasin said that considering the damage caused by the Congress party to the nation during the 70 years since the partion of India, the nation needs to be protected from the Congress.
He said, “The Congress has toyed with the constitution frequently. Be it the imposition of emergency, toppling majority Governments formed by the opposition after election or making unnecessary amendments in the constitution for the sake of its vote-bank politics, the hands of the Congress are tainted with the crimes of toying with the constitution. The public has also fully understood this fact due to which the Congress is losing ground in Uttarakhand and across the nation,” said Bhasin.
He further said that the Congress is suffering from infighting while the dominance of the Gandhi family is also decreasing. Rahul Gandhi is almost on the sidelines.
Due to these reasons, the rally being taken out by the Congress on its foundation day is basically ‘Congress Bachao, Rahul Lao’ rally. However, the citizens of the nation understand the reality and this rally will not save the Congress. “Recently, the Congress created an atmosphere of fear in the public especially members of a particular community regarding the Citizenship (Amendment) Act. Violent incidents also took place in various places due to this reason.
This further exposed the ill-intentions of the Congress. The BJP remains committed to fully unmasking the face of the Congress so that it does not succeed in its conspiracies against the interests of the nation,” added the BJP State media in-charge.
