Unscheduled power –cuts and that too for a long period have hit normal life in Haldwani on Monday. In many areas, the spell of power outages ran into over four hours on Monday afternoon. Even after power was restored, fresh spell started. The areas that were affected the most were Kaladhungi Road an its adjacent areas like Kusumkhera, R K Tent House Road and Pushp Vihar,Gasgodam Road.The power-cuts affected other basic services like drinking water supply in different parts of Haldwani.
