A constable of IRB, Bailparao, committed suicide by shooting himself with a weapon here on Wednesday.
The IRB constable was posted at the IRB station, Bailparao (near Kaladhungi). He was on leave and was about to go to his hometown in Almora, as the officials concerned of the IRB said. Meanwhile, he stayed at the IRB camp at Haldwani mandi on Tuesday. However, the IRB constable, identified as Kheem Singh, aged around 27 years, shot himself with a weapon after snatching it from his fellow staff member at the IRB Haldwani mandi camp on early Wednesday morning.
According to the officials concerned of the IRB, the deceased had been passing through some health disorders for some time. He shot himself with a weapon at the IRB camp, Haldwani mandi, around 3 am on Wednesday. Further investigation is on this regard, they added.
