Satish Kumar Shukla is an Indian Police Service (IPS) officer by profession, but a writer at heart. He knows how to create a picture with words.
Playing with words, he has written more than a dozen stories which revolve around ongoing incidents in the society. Aur larki jeet gayee, the compilation of his stories, is ready to land among the readers who would soon get a taste of his writing.
The IPS officer is currently posted as Assistant Inspector General of Police at PHQ. Shukla, who nurtured the dream of writing stories since his childhood, picked up simple characters those each reader may correlate with. Shukla started writing the stories around one and half years ago.
His pen emitted a story after the other one that comprises sensitivity, emotion and picture of the society.
“Writing is like a journey for me in which I travel along with the characters of the stories. It is an emotional affair for me. I tried to write in a simple manner what I realized,” Shukla said, adding that he wrote for the readers whose opinion would matter a lot to him.
