In a bid to create awareness among investors about the financial market and impact of factors like inflation, industrial output, FDI PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry organised a day-long “Investor awareness seminar” in Uttarakhand on Saturday. It was one of the series of programs planned in different locations of the State of Uttarakhand in this financial year.
Ankur Grover, an expert from National Stock Exchange, made his presentations in this respect. Verendra Kalra Co-Chairman PHD Chamber Uttarakhand, Parimal Patet -The Secretary ICAI Dehradun & Resident Director of PHD Chamber Anil Taneja were the panelists in the program.
Its objective was to help delegates understand the financial market in a simplified manner & the importance and impact of factors like Inflation, Industrial Output, Foreign Investments on the Stock Markets. The session covered presentation of the experts reviews and different aspects of Stock Market activities, Trading and Settlement Systems, Debt Market, Dematerialization of shares, Risk Management, General Safeguard, Do’s and Don’ts for the investors.
It also included Introduction of the the host of services to capital market participants including risk management, clearing, settlement, market data services and training. The Seminar was an earnest effort towards bringing together stakeholders and interact with the experts.
