Individual seen as fulcrum of global transformation

Pro vice- chancellor of Dev Sanskriti Vishwavidyalaya Dr Chinmaya Pandya stressed on self-transformation being the key factor to global transformation while spelling out a roadmap of sustainability at the programme organised by Global Sustainability Network Forum in london.  The forum had hosted the programme at lambeth Palace in london   to have a roadmap firmed up in response to the   global sustainability goals set up by the United Nations. The meeting was attended by senior politicians, media persons, corporate heads and philanthropists from across the world.  Dr Pandya represented India in the international forum.

Notably, a team of United Nations is regularly working on the global issues such as exploitation, forced labour, prostitution and human trafficking.  Various parameters of measurements have been devised to check and balance them. The initiative is receiving support from many organisations which are engaged in works for global sustainability. The forum was initiated by various religious leaders of the world in 2014 for working together to defend the dignity and freedom of the human being while fighting against exploitation, forced labour, prostitution, human trafficking and the like, the matters that are assuming grimmer proportions in the footsteps of globalisation.
