Several roads of the mountainous parts of Dehradun were blocked due to moderate intermittent rainfall being experienced here for the last four days while many roads in plain ares were water-logged.
As per the report received from the district official, loss of life and damage of properties have been reported in the last few days’ of rainfall in the district. Four members including two children of a single family under Rajpur police station in Dehradun died when their house collapsed due to incessant rain followed by landslide on Tuesday late night.
The collapse of two houses was also reported from Rajpur area. Several roads have been blocked in mountainous parts of the district including lambidhar-Kimadi motor road, Kabadi market road, Sahiya motor road, Haripur Ichchhadi Qwanu Meenas motor road, Mussoorie Tyuni Chakrata road, New Tehri Kirtinagar motor road, Panjitilani Candu Supau Dasu motor road, laksyar ludhera, Qyari Kasta motor Gaskigad Gadol Sakrol motor road, Koti Dimu lelta Pata motor road, Samar
