The End of Term Indoor Club Exhibition-cum-Competition held at the Indian Military Academy (IMA) on Friday showed that the would- be officers of Indian Army are as adroit in soft skills as they are in warfare and physical endurance.

The Exhibition was inaugurated by Neena Saini, the first lady of the Academy and wife of IMA Commandant lt Gen SK Saini.

In the exhibition the Chetwode building was adorned with beautiful exhibits of the Arts Club, Photography and Wildlife and Computer Club.

The Arts Club cultivates and promotes creative arts skills among Gentlemen Cadets (GCs). The exhibition showcased Glass, Oil and Charcoal paintings along with pencil sketches with ‘Monuments of IMA’ as the theme.

In the Photography and Wild life Club, the cadets showcased display of ‘life like Photographs’ with catchy captions and write-ups.

The members of the Computer Club gave the basic framework for the development of the GC assessment and management software, e-dossiers and the section Hospital management system, which are presently operational in the IMA. These programmes were introduced to automate the registration of GCs details as well as their performance assessment, which were otherwise are done manually.
