State Finance Minister Indira Hridayesh, who has been authorised to execute day-to-day work on behalf of Chief Minister Harish Rawat till he returns from AIIMS Delhi, has categorically asked Uttarakhand Police DGP to deploy City Patrol Unit (CPU) for the people safety. She further said that government would challenge the high court Nainital order, in which court has given clean chit to former Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, in Supreme Court.
Taking cognizance on the road closure due to landslide at lambagad, Hridayesh said that she spoke to chief secretary Subhash Kumar and Additional Chief Secretary Rakesh Sharma to restore traffic movement by clearing debris from road. She has also instructed them to deploy addional bulldozer to remove debris in case of landslide so that pilgrims should not become sufferer. In case of consistent rain you close the char dham yatra so that pilgrims should not become victim of nature fury.
Commenting on State Cabinet Minsiter Harak Singh Rawat, who alleged that both BJP and congress have been using enquiry commission as an election stunt because BJP won assembly election- 2007 by using 56 scams during congress regime between 2002-07 and now similar thing congress is doing and using Bhati commission to grill BJP leaders but in reality they should have refer the case to CBI, she expressed unawareness about the comment.
