In view of increasing number of swine flu cases and accompanying fear psychosis in the general public, the Director General of Health services Dr GS Joshi took a Statewide review meeting at his office on Monday. The DG directed all Chief Medical Officers (CMO) of the State to ensure that isolation wards are made in all the hospitals.
He said that to create public awareness about the disease special efforts should be made. The information about the symptoms and preventive measures should be given in the morning meeting in the schools, he added. The DG appealed the media to report swine flu cases only after confirming them.
