The Heritage School celebrated its 62nd Annual Day “Kalavandanam” on Saturday. R Meenakshi Sundaram, Vice Chairman, MDDA was the chief guest. Students from the classes VII-IX performed dance. Whereas students of IV & Vth class performed on Goan Carnival. Senior students presented an Arabian dance and Bhangra.
On the occasion, ISC toppers Gurpreet Kaur, Rishi Uniyal, Mohit Wadhwa and Vaibhav Arora were given cash prize of Rs20,000 each. Similarly, the ICSE toppers Sparsh Ahuja and Divya Jain were given a scholarship named ‘DR Sudheer Shelly Scholarship’ which carries a cash prize of Rs5,000 each. The trophy for the Best House in Academics was awarded to Saagwan House. Monal House was announced as the Best House in Sports. The overall trophy was bagged by The Saagwan House.
During the programmee, a tribute was paid to the late former President APJ Abdul Kalam. later, the chief guest praised the efforts made by the students. She also appreciated the spirit and enthusiasm with which students performed.
