The State Meteorological Centre has given a red warning of heavy to very heavy rainfall and thunderstorm that is likely at isolated places in Nainital, Champawat, Pithoragarh, Udham Singh Nagar, Dehradun, Haridwar and Pauri districts today.
Light to moderate rainfall and thunderstorms are likely in the majority of places.
The maximum and minimum temperatures of Dehradun are likely to be around 30 degree Celsius and 25 degree Celsius respectively.
Meanwhile, the maximum and minimum temperatures recorded of the various places on Wednesday were 33.7 degree Celsius and 26.7 degree Celsius respectively in Dehradun, 31.5 degree Celsius and 28 degree Celsius in Pantnagar, 24.7 degree Celsius and 15.5 degree Celsius in Mukteshwar and 27 degree Celsius and 18.8 degree Celsius respectively in New Tehri.
