A sven-day-health and medical check-up camp has started at Patanjali Yogpeeth in the district. On the first day of the camp, Swami Ramdev dwelt on the benefits of Yoga and Ayurveda, saying that both have originated in this holy land with the sages having shown the paths. Our mission is to enable the Indians to take up any challenge coming from any quarter by inculcating in them the mantra of Swadeshi. We stress on science and technology and health through Ayurveda, he said. Acharya Balkrishan elaborated on the right way of healthy living.
He added a surprise is being kept in store for the world. Yoga–Ayurveda would prove their efficacy in the present -day situations. Team of experts has been formed and everyone who arrives here would be benefitted by the treatment being meted out from here. Thousands attended the camp on its maiden day. Majority of them are from Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Odisha aside from several districts of Uttarakhand.
