Taking note of the alleged custodial death of a 16 -year old -minor boy at Kashipur in Udham Singh Nagar district on February 28 night, the Uttarakhand High Court has sought a report from the investigation officer within 10 days. The police officers and personnel suspended following the incident-Kashipur police station in-charge Om Prakash Sharma, post in-charge Praveen Kumar and constables Balwant Singh and Virendra Dutt- have been issued notice too. Deceased’s father Mohammad Yameen had filed a petition in the court, said court sources. Yameen had earlier demanded a CBI or high level inquiry into the matter.
