The Jharkhand High Court on Thursday granted bail to former AJSU MlA KK Bhagat and his associate Alester Bodra in extortion and attempt to murder case. Both Bhagat and Bodra had earlier been sentenced seven year rigorous imprisonment by a lower court in Ranchi. Following their imprisonment, they filed a bail application on June 25 and after hearing arguments from both sides, the court granted bail to them for which they will have to furnish a bail bond of Rs 10,000 each.
