Harish Rawat thanked State Congress president Kishore Upadhyay for requesting the Governor to conduct inquiries into all the scams that have cropped up in the State since 2008.
“I would appeal to the investigating agencies to begin the probe with my property that I have acquired since the day I was sworn in as the CM in February 2014,” he said.
Daring BJP, he said they had better attain a highly sophisticated microscope or magnifying glass to find out skeletons in his cupboard.
He said he would be very happy if the Centre conducts inquiry into myriad scams like disaster scam, mining scam and liquor scam. “I would be the first person to welcome such an initiative,” Rawat said.
