The Hans Foundation would help the state government in building a residential Model School on 37 acres of land in Jaiharikhal of Pauri district. The school would be for the students of classes VI to XII and bright students of economically weaker sections of society would be given admission in it on priority. The Hans foundation would also set up a skill development centre at Lawad village near Satpuli.
On Tuesday, the CEO of Hans foundation Lt General (retired) N S Mehta called upon the chief minister Trivendra Singh Rawat at his residence on Wednesday and expressed foundation’s willingness to help in these ventures. CM said that modern facilities would be provided in the Model residential school and suggested that efforts should be made to start the school from next academic session. He said that an arrangement for guest lecture from a officer of all India service every month would be made for the school.
