With the State Government setting March 31, 2014, as deadline for restoration of the drinking water services, the District administrationAlmora has urged residents of the district to take up their drinking water related problems with the SDMs in their respective areas.
The administration also further advised citizens to lodge their complaints in writing with the office of the District Magistrate.The citizens also can complain their problems by dialling phone number i.e. 05962-237874 and 05962-237875.
It is to be noted that keeping in view the summer season ahead, the State Government has emphasised on the early restoration of the drinking water services acrossthe State including in disaster hit areas.
