The Government Medical College (GMC), Haldwani, celebrated its fifth annual day here on Tuesday
Speaking on this occasion, State Finance Minister and MlA from Haldwani, Indira Haridayesh, emphasised on the need to provide better health services to the patients.
Wishing the medical students all success ahead, the State Finance Minister further said that since a huge number of patients from different parts of the hill regions come to this medical college for treatment as it is close to the hilly region of the Kumaon division, therefore the doctors are supposed to extend all possible care to the needy.
At the same time she also assured the officials concerned of medical college to provide all possible support from the Government for further development of this primary medical college and hospital. Among others Prof. H S Dhami, Vice –Chancellor of the Kumaon University, Nainital, RC Purohit, Principal of the GMC, Haldwani were also present on this occasion.
