Following complaints of traffic jams on the highways and main roads, the vehicles deployed to collect riverbed materials from the Nandhaur river that falls in the Haldwani forest division, would now be able to make only two rounds.
Taking cases of traffic jams on the highways and other main roads due to movements of the vehicles engaged in collecting riverbed materials from the Nandhaur river , the district administration Nainital has asked the officials concerned of the Haldwani forest division and SDM to ensure implementation of the aforesaid order.
In case of violation of the said order, necessary action would be taken against the owners of the vehicles used in collecting the riverbed materials from the Nandhaur river, asserted the Nainital district administration.
