The election to Haldwani district planning committee would be held on October 31. A notice in this regard was issued by district election office. As per notice, candidates an file their nomination papers till October 28.
The scrutiny of the nomination papers will be done at the Vikas Bhawan auditorium, Bageshwar, from 10 am on October 29, added the officials concerned of the Bageshwar district election office. The candidates who wish to withdraw from the fray may do so between 11 am to 3 pm on October 30, added the officials concerned of the Bageshwar district election office.
The voting will be held at the Vikas Bhawan auditorium, Bageshwar, from 8 am to 3 pm on October 31 and the counting of the votes will be held the same day i.e. on October 31 from 3.30 pm, further said the officials concerned of the district election office, Bageshwar.
While 11 members have to be elected from the zila panchayat area for the district planning committee one member would be elected in the aforesaid committee from the municipal council area, as the officials concerned of the Bageshwar election office said.
Thus a total 12 members have to be elected in the district planning committee, added the officials concerned.
