The Governor and Chief Minister of Uttarakhand have expressed their condolences on the martyrdom of Major Kamlesh Pandey.
In his message the Governor K K Paul said that Uttarakhand has the glorious tradition of soldiers laying down their lives for the motherland and Major Kamlesh Pandey has enhanced this tradition. Offering tribute, the CM Trivendra Singh Rawat said that his sentiments are with the family members of Major Pandey. He held a telephonic talk with father of the martyr in which he expressed his grief and assured all possible help to the grieving family.
