In order to address the grievances of the citizens, the Almora district administration is going to organise multipurpose grievance redressal camps in all tehsil campuses of the district on February 17, 2014, appealing to the citizens of the respective areas to attend these multipurpose camps in maximum number.
The interesting fact is that citizens will be able to get their long pending concerns resolved on the spot in these multipurpose camps in the respective tehsils, said the officials concerned of the Almora district administration.
Apart from getting their long pending grievances addressed, the citizens may also be able to get matters related to ration cards, death or birth certificates, old age, widow and handicap pensions to name a few solved in these multipurpose camps, added the officials concerned of the district administration, Almora. Therefore, all the officials concerned of the respective departments have been asked to ensure their participation in these camps so that problems of the citizens could be solved on the spot.
More importantly, respective tehsildars will chair the multipurpose camp meetings in those tehsils where SDMs are not posted presently, the Almora district administration made it clear to the respective officials concerned.
