The State Government is ready to face Opposition’s attack in the House because Government has collected all the facts and figure from all the tentative issues, which Opposition may raise during the session.

Talking to The Pioneer State Parliamentary affairs Minister Indira Hridayesh said that State Government is planning to bring 16 bills in the winter session.

Their details are Uttarakhand value aided tax amendment act-2014; Uttarakhand Govansh protection amendment act-2014, Uttarakhand ropeway amendment act-2014; Uttarakhand special area tourism development and alleviation act-2014; Uttarakhand district planning committee amendment act-2014, Uttarakhand state Gairsain development council act-2014; Uttarakhand agriculture produce marketing development and merger amendment Act-2014; Uttarakhand Cooperative committee amendment act-2014; Uttarakhand Mining Development council-2014; Uttarakhand State infrastructure development council -2014; lokayukta Act-2014, Uttarakhand Medical selection act-2014, Uttarakhand ST/SC amendment act-2014.

Replying to the query that opposition may raise several issues inside the house, Hridayesh said that in democratic system, opposition has equal responsibility with treasury bench but they should first check with facts and figure before making any allegation against the State Government.

She further said that it is their right to raise issues but the right should not be misused by the opposition.from cheap political grandstanding. “As we have already finalised things for the next five days, they can raise issues during the zero hour. The House has kept time for all such issues. As far as the charge of the 13th finance commission funds having lapsed is concerned the Union Government has already done away with the  Planning Commission which is why they are not releasing funds to the State.

“Under these circumstances, if they think the funds have lapsed they better put pressure on the Union Government being run by their party,” she said.Although such things happened with all the States so she expressed hope that Union Government will give solution to all the States, the Minister said.
