The state government made a change in responsibilities of three officers of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) on Monday. The transfer of Nitin Bhadauria done recently has been cancelled and he would continue holding the position of District Magistrate (DM) of Almora. Bhadauria was made the director general (DG) of education in the last transfer list.
The education secretary, R Meenakshi Sundaram would continue to hold the charge of education DG. IAS Surendra Narayan Pandey who was transferred from the post of Champawat DM to Almora DM in the last list has now been transferred to the position of secretary in charge, power and director of Uttarakhand Renewable Energy Authority (UREDA).
