After talks with senior Government officials, the Government doctors have decided to take back their OPD boycott call from Tuesday. The President of PMHS Dr BS Jangpangi said that a delegation of the doctors met Principal Secretary Health Om Prakash and Director General of health services Dr GS Joshi. He said that the delegation was assured that a magisterial inquiry would be ordered on vigilance action against Dr Joshi. Dr Jangpangi said that doctors were assured that there is no repetition of such incidences in near future. He said that if no action is taken in next two weeks on the issue then the doctors would be forced to resume their agitation.
