Govt makes additions to home isolation conditions

Published on:

The State government has made additions to the provisions for allowing home isolation for asymptomatic patients of Covid-19. According to the direction issued by Health secretary Amit Singh Negi to all district magistrates and chief medical officers, children aged below 10 years and senior citizens aged above 60 years, who are not suffering from any other illness can be permitted to remain in home isolation.

However, such patients/guardians should mandatorily have a private vehicle so that the patient can be taken to the nearest Covid hospital in case the condition of the patient deteriorates.
