BJP leader Satpal Maharaj, now under critical glare because of his alleged involvement in poly house scam, went hammer-and-tongs against the Harish Rawat government, accusing it of looting the state in the name of dredging its rivers. Mentioning the fact that the Chief Minister Harish Rawat was under the CBI scanner on account of the infamous sting CD shot, Maharaj said that the state not just needed Kamal (lotus) but Brahmkamal ( the state flower) to bloom to remove the ‘sinful’ regime.
