Uttarakhand Governor Dr Aziz Qureshi and Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna greeted the people on the occasion of Holi and hoped that the festival of colours would be a harbinger of peace, progress and prosperity in the state.
In his message, the Governor observed that festivals are an important component of India's rich cultural heritage which strengthens the bonds of brotherhood, love and amity.
In his message on the eve of the festival, the CM Bahuguna said that Holi was a festival which enhanced togetherness and social harmony. He expressed hope that it would bring happiness to everyone’s life. He also appealed to all the people to celebrate the festival with a feeling of brotherhood and love.
