A good educational foundation is essential for success irrespective of the path an individual may choose to follow in life, said Vikasnagar MlA, Munna Singh Chauhan while speaking on the occasion of academic awards winning ceremony at Ecole Globale International Girls School here on Thursday.
In the ceremony ninety meritorious students of school were rewarded for academic excellence in three categories. Those who received recognition for their academic prowess included the overall grade toppers, the best performers in individual subjects, and those who have shown the greatest improvement in the course of the session. The students who were rewarded for overall excellence for the year 2016-17 were Urvi Pansari, Hrishita Dey, Mrigna Goel, Sanya lakhia, Kriti Sanjeev, Anoushka Nahata, Ishuta Goyal, Garima Joshi, Rutesha Mishra, Tanu Raj and Jaspreet Kaur for excellence in education and extracurricular activities round the year.
The founder and President of the school Amarjeet Juneja said that academics are integral to the foundation which a school is expected to provide for its students. The Principal of the school Brinda Ghosh and all staff members of the schools were present on the occasion.
