The railway general manager Northern Railways R K Kulshreshth inspected the circulating area of platform number 1 while on a visit to the Haridwar railway station on Thursday morning. He pointed out various facilities found defunct and asked the station superintendent to fix the faults. He was accompanied by DRM and other railway officials .
Though he sounded happy over cleanliness being maintained he said that the electric display board found non-functioning should be put into use immediately. Besides, finding that there was no water at the water stand, GM asked the officials concerned to ensure that water supply is restored in no time. GM also asked two passengers whether they were getting the refunds against cancellation of trains sans any hassle.
