On the fourth day of Manas Gangotri Ram Katha in Gangotri Dham on Tuesday, Morari Bapu , the popular Hindu Kathakaar, said that the animal is as beautiful as the moon is beautiful. Similarly, the Ganga is beautiful, he said. Dwelling on the beauty of Ganga, he invoked Tulsidas who said that all the rivers are stories and all the stories are Ganga. Bapu said that Vyas had written down a thousand names of the Ganga in Kedarkkhand. “Wherever you go you will find places endowed with the glory of Ganga. Ganga is not just a river but it is Brahmavari. Various mention myriad origins of Ganga ,” he said.
Bapu further said that human beings should never persecute anyone. “The greedy does not have any respect for donation. The young man can hardly live in peace. Devotion will be manifested in the persons whose minds are simple. The seeker who has simplicity must attain true devotion. Grace is sure to come if one loves God truly. What is needed is satsang to arouse devotion. love for other fellow beings constitutes devotion too. Narada has described devotion as a loving entity. Devotion is not born from reverence. Ananda may come from reverence. Devotion is something one is born with. It is steady, unwavering faith in the goodness of God,” the celebrated Kathakaar said. While paying tribute to the departed leader Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Bapu said that his speeches delivered during his career as a politician in the Parliament and elsewhere were full of sweetness, devoid of the least bitterness.
