A function was organised by Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam limited to commemorate Gandhi Jayanti and birth anniversary of former Prime Minister lal Bahadur Shastri in Dehradun on Wednesday.
Speakers urged the gathering to follow in the footsteps of both leaders after terming them men of strong character. Addressing the gathering, Director (Projects) Sandeep Singhal highlighted the ideology of Mahatma Gandhi.
He also spoke on various steps and decisions taken by both leaders for the welfare of common man.
The gathering also vowed to push the State and country further on the path of progress and also decided that they will introduce beneficiary steps for the overall development of the country.
The programme was well coordinated by Rakesh Kumar, who also urged from the gathering to follow the footprints of both national leaders. Director (HR) SK Chopra, Director (Finance) CP Madan, Director (Operations) Purushottam, General Manger NK Maheswari, Vineet Saxena, TM Bharadwaj, Deputy General Manager Pankaj Kulshrestra, Managar Bharat Bharadwaj, Assistant Engineer Manish and staff were also present.
