BSNl brings ‘achhe din’ for its subscribers as it is all set to provide free phone call service to its landline customers to any mobile or landline network from 9 pm to 7 am from May 1.

Initially, the special free phone call service package will be available for six months. But the existing BSNl landline subscribers will continue to avail the said special free phone call package to any mobile or landline network across the country, said Mahendra Srivastav, general manager, BSNl, Nainital-Udham Singh Nagar region.

People who would subscribe to the BSNl landline service after six months may not avail the special offer as this special offer is only for six months, he added. The basic purpose of offering this special free phone service from BSNl landline to any mobile or landline network across the country is to promote the BSNl landline service, he stated.

There are about 35,000 BSNl landline subscribers in Nainital- Udham Singh Nagar region. Under this special offer we have a plan to add about 8000 more BSNl landline subscribers, further said the BSNl official, Nainital-Udham Singh Nagar region.

BSNl has offered this free phone service to its landline customers only with nominal charges of Rs 20 or Rs 25 as per their rental plan. At the same time, to attract more subscribers to its landline service, it would try to improve its services to its subscribers with better connectivity.

“Since we have a good BSNl landline network without investing much we can provide better landline services to our customers. A new landline BSNl connection will be provided to the customers in a week”, added the GM. “More so, to improve 2G and 3G connectivity and data speed, we are installing more mobile towers in Nainital and Udham Singh Nagar,” he further said.
