The Bageshwar forest division is going to auction 930 gm of Cordyceps sinensis on October 25. A total 990 gm of the Cordyceps sinensis was earlier recovered by the Bageshwar distrct police from some suspects and as per the order of the Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) court, Bageshwar, out of the total 990 gm of Cordyceps sinensis, 60 gm of the same was sent to Forest Research Institute, Dehradun for testing purpose, said Dharm Singh Meena, Divisional Forest Officer (DFO), Bageshwar. Now rest of the 930 gm of Cordyceps Sinensis is being disposed off through auctioning , he added. Auctioning of the said Cordyceps sinensis will be held at the auditorium of the Bageshwar forest division from 11 am on October 25, added the official concerned.
