Though the Congress party is claiming victory in the floor test in Uttarakhand assembly on Tuesday but in actual sense it is a defeat for both Congress and BJP on moral grounds, opined the Aam Adami Party (AAP) leader Anoop Nautiyal on Tuesday. He said that Supreme Court (SC) is yet to make a formal announcement of the outcome of floor test but the Congress party has started victory celebration shortly after the test which is shameful.
launching a scathing attack on BJP, Nautiyal said that the party is bent on removing non congress governments as it has developed arrogance due to the power. He termed imposition of President’s rule in the state by removing a democratically elected government as a wrong step of BJP government. The AAP leader appreciated the role played by the judiciary in restoring democracy in the state.
He said that the Harish Rawat and Congress party should not get too buoyed up by the victory of numbers as two back to back stings have raised serious questions which they need to answer. He blamed the leaders of both Congress and BJP for engaging in unfair practices and horse trading to woo the legislators.
The AAP leader said that the people of the state are watching every move of both Congress and BJP and are determined to show them door in the next elections. He affirmed that only AAP could give a better alternative to the people of the state in the elections.
