With this development Uttarakhand will be attached with Crime & criminal Tracking networking and system (CCTNS) and police investigation will be more faster than now. This was disclosed after a review meeting in CCTNS, by the chief secretary Subhash Kumar on Thursday. DGP BS Sidhu said that 172 out of 184 computer cells across the state as part of the CCTNS project were placed. GD and FIR entries are being made in these 172 places. Remaining 12 places we are facing connectivity problem so BSNl has been requested to install V-sat as soon as possible.
With this each police station will be connected online and will be connected with all india under CCTNS.
