The Sanskar Pariwar would felicitate 25 people for their contribution to the society on the occasion of its 21st Foundation Day on December 23, Vipin Joshi of the organisation informed on Tuesday while addressing the media persons.
He said that the organisation has decided to give ‘Neev Ke pathar Samman’ to personalities like Swami Chidanand Muni (world peace), Bhole ji Maharaj, Mata Mangla (social service), Bhakti Maa, Mahant Maya Giri, DIG Garhwal Sanjay Gunjiyal, Jail Superintendent of Haridwar BP Pandey, Gauri Maulkhi (service to animals), Director Culture Beena Bhat, Mukhya Nagar Adhikari Dehradun Harak Singh Rawat, and Vinita Kumar (Bio farming). He said that organisations like Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM) for exceptional services during Kedarnath tragedy, IHM Dehradun for their efforts to save the river Tamsa and Niti Mana Kalayan Samiti for efforts to save culture and traditions would also be felicitated on the occasion.
Joshi said that on December 23, a march for world peace would be organised from Gandhi Park to municipal corporation hall. Yoga in charge of the organisation Yogiraj Karanpal would perform different yogic exercises. He informed that scholarships to meritorious students would be given by the Srivasta Nautiyal education mission on the occasion. In the press conference Upendra Thapli, Dr PK Sharma, Godavari Thapli, Kamla Pant, Yogi Karnpal and Dr Man Singh were present.
