Uttarkhand BJP in-charge Radha Mohan Singh, who was blaming the Congress-led Uttarakhand Government for their lackadaisical approach in rescue and relief work, could not answer the media query about the loss in recent disaster.
He was addressing the media after convening a review meeting, which was called to assess the damage, as if he himself was giving a lump sum figure due to the devastation.
It has raised a question mark over why he called the press conference when he himself was not aware about the exact figure. Interestingly, he had assured that he has received facts from a survey team and will inform the media about the loss, including human and animals, through a press note by evening.
In the evening, they sent a press note, but it was nothing more than the Press conference because did not have figure or loss of persons and infrastructure as well. It seems he called the meeting to do politics only.
